Luminita is a dedicated and highly qualified acupuncturist, trained at the prestigious International College of Oriental Medicine. She holds a BSc (Hons) and a Licentiate in Acupuncture, and is a full member with the British Acupuncture Council.
With a background as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and Usui Reiki Master for almost 30 years, Luminita has always been passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal health and well-being. Her deep interest in Chinese Medicine, its history, and philosophy led her to discover acupuncture and Reiki as a bridge between Western and Eastern medicine, offering a more comprehensive approach to treating the root causes of illness rather than just addressing symptoms.
Luminita has extensive training in Classical Chinese Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Five Elements Acupuncture, and the Stems and Branches system. She integrates her broad medical knowledge to provide a holistic approach to treatment, involving patients in their healing journey and nurturing both their emotional and physical well-being.
She believes that symptoms are messages from the body, guiding us toward deeper healing. Her approach is to address the root cause rather than just the symptoms, ensuring long-lasting results. By balancing the body’s internal environment, she helps patients regain physical, emotional, and mental harmony.
Recently, she joined the UK Affiliate of Acupuncturists Without Borders, aiming to provide support to individuals affected by trauma, accidents, and displacement through Acupuncture.
